Detroit police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was shot on the city's west side.
According to police, the shooting happened this afternoon near Puritan and Robson.
Police say the teen was outside with his friends when a group of men walked up to them and opened fire, hitting the 14-year-old.
We're told the teen was taken to the hospital for treatment in temporary-serious condition.
