It's not clear who looks forward to the annual Shop with a Cop event more every year, the students or the police officers.
Kids from Davison Elementary and Dove Academy in Detroit joined officers from the Detroit Police Department's 11th precinct on Friday for a shopping spree.
Each student received $225, courtesy of Meijer, to spend at the store on 8 Mile and Woodward.
