Detroit police precincts are getting ready to have fun with families tonight in neighborhoods across the city for what's being called "National Night Out."
Events will be held at all 12 precincts.
The goal is to strengthen relationships between officers and their communities.
Some highlights include live entertainment, music, food and games in a carnival like atmosphere.
