Detroit Police have released clear surveillance video of two suspects in the murder of a man shot and killed on the city’s west side.

It happened outside of the 5th St. Liquor Store of Fenkell.

Police said the two men went into the store and when they left, shot the victim in the parking lot.

“These two young men were seen entering the store and then having an altercation with the victim in the parking lot,” said Lt. Michael McGinnis with the Detroit Police Department’s homicide unit.

People in the neighborhood told 7 Action News the victim is a man who is commonly spotted outside of the liquor store, selling CDs.

They said his name is Omar, known as Charlie O. They said he is a father of three and a good person.

"It's definitely going to affect the neighborhood, everybody knew him,” said friend, Rhonda Hart.

Detroit Police are hopeful someone will recognize the suspects. If you have information call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
