The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a man who has been missing since Saturday.
Officers say that, while John Carter is in good physical condition, he does have a mental health issue that he must take a daily medication to treat.
Carter was last seen at around 8:30 a.m. at his home in the 9900 block of Abington. His brother says he leaves his home daily to collect cans and bottles and returns home between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.
Carter is 44-years-old. He is 5'9" tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has a dark brown complexion, brown eyes, black hair and a full beard and mustache.
When last see, Carter was wearing a red and black jacket, brown khaki pants and a black skull cap.
