The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a missing 83-year-old woman who has Alzheimer's disease.
Ora Clayton was last seen around noon in the 5000 block of Joy Road. At the time she said she was going to the store. It is believed she was headed towards either the Home Pride Market at Joy and Wyoming or the party store at Epworth and Joy.
Clayton is African American with a medium complexion. She is 5'2" tall. Police have not released a picture.
Clayton was wearing silver-framed clear lens glasses, a red or gray hat with a ball on top and a red sweater.
Clayton was driving a black 2008 Dodge Caliber SX with Illinois Plate number H961739. She was carrying an Illinois driver's license in the name of Ora Lee Kuenning.
Clayton just returned to Detroit from Illinois in November.
