Detroit police search for missing elderly man with dementia

Detroit police are asking for your help locating a missing elderly man with dementia.

Eddie King, Jr., 76, was last seen on Thursday afternoon around 2:15 p.m. at Henry Ford Hospital in the 2700 block of W. Grand Blvd.

Police say he went to a doctor's appointment and then never returned.

He is described as a black male, 5-feet-11 weighing 185 pounds. He has dark complexion, medium build, brown eyes, short black hair and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black felt Kangol hat, black short zip jacket, medium gray/royal blue striped button up short sleeve silk shirt, medium gray silk pants and two toned light and dark tan colored shoes.
