Police are asking for the public's help to identify a home invasion suspect who helped assault a 86-year-old Detroit woman.
The home invasion happened at around 1:40 a.m. on February 9 at the woman's home on Longfellow, near Woodward.
The elderly woman was asleep when the unidentified suspect and two other men entered her home. They ransacked the home and assaulted the woman, before leaving with some of the victim's possessions.
Those two other men have already been identified. They were arrested on February 12 and charged with home invasion, assaulted with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and felon in possession.
The third suspect remains unidentified. He is believed to be between 15 and 21-years-old. He is 5'6" tall and weighs around 130 pounds. He has a medium brown complexion. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a hooded shirt, a brown vest and blue jeans.
