Detroit police are investigating a shooting that took place Sunday morning, leaving one man dead.
The crime happened along Allonby, near Schaefer on the city’s west side. We're told the man is in his 40s.
According to neighbors, the man was loved by many in the neighborhood. Word of his death quickly spread from gas stations to party stores.
Investigators are searching for the gunman or gunmen.
