Detroit police put extra security measures into place at all precincts after some made threats against the 8th precinct.
Officials say someone called 911 and threatened to shoot up the station, which is on McNichols on the city's west side.
Because of the threats, access to all precincts has been limited to just the front doors.
Officers are investigating the threats.
