Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries is helping change lives one family at a time this holiday season.
They have a program where they help families on the verge of homelessness into a home on their own.
The work is done through a group of volunteers where they help come and clean up the homes before families move in.
That's only part of the program, though. They are also rebuilding neighborhoods and bringing the population back to the city of Detroit.
