Detroit has been named the number one city for pizza lovers for 2017 by SmartAsset.
The website says Detroit-style pizza is seen as a cross between New York, Chicago and Sicilian pizza traditions.
It also says there are about 15.5 pizza places for every 10,000 residents of Detroit.
SmartAsset calculated its findings by analyzing data on total number of pizza places, average quality of pizza places, percent of highly rated pizza places, number of pizza places per 10,000 residents and local cost of living.
