Detroit's Midtown neighborhood ranked No. 25 in a list of 25 "hottest" neighborhoods in America, according to a report compiled by HotSpot Rentals.
The list analyzed six different elements: walkability, transit, budget, entertainment, lifestyle and weather.
Midtown ranked high in walkability and budget, but low in entertainment, transit and lifestyle.
The Mission in San Francisco ranked number one, while Bushwick in New York City and Jackson Square in San Francisco ranked second and third.
Scores for each category were computed out of 100, with a total averaged score to find the final ranking.
California was the state with the most top neighborhoods in the country.
