The Rosa Parks Transit Center was evacuated after noon today due to a suspicious item was found inside the building.
The Detroit Police Department’s bomb squad was sent in the center to remove the item.
Officers examined the item and determined it wasn't harmful and the building reopened around 3:00 pm.
