Dog rescued from streets of Detroit doing well after having massive tumor removed

Posted

Cha Cha is a dog on the mend after the Pomeranian mix nearly died.

The 10-year-old pooch was found wandering the streets of Detroit by a Good Samaritan.

The little dog had a three pound tumor hanging from her underside, making it difficult for her to even walk.  When Detroit Dog Rescue came across the dog while on a visit to animal control, they knew they needed to help.

The little dog was taken to Greenfield Animal Hospital in Southfield for emergency surgery. With the tumor removed, Cha Cha is on the mend.
