There is city wide anger and outrage over the murder of 13-year-old Deontae Mitchell.

Strangers from as far away as Macomb Township made their way to vigils on the city's east side, saying goodbye.

Dozens gathered near the corner of Harper and Baldwin, where his body was found Thursday morning. There was also a gathering of more than 100 people at Nino's Market, the store where Mitchell was kidnapped late Tuesday night.

Police arrested 45-year-old Gregory Walker and his girlfriend at a Days Inn in Toledo.

They say Walker was drunk and the man seen in surveillance video snatching the boy.

Investigators believe he's the one who killed Mitchell.

Police arrested 30-year-old Ernest Coleman and are still looking for 51-year-old Roy Portis, but aren't saying why they are connected to the case.
