The director of a Detroit group home remains in police custody following a fatal shooting.

The shooting happened late Monday. The director has been identified as 45-year-old Phillip Simmons. His son and sister were also taken into custody, however, they have since been released.

We're told the group home is referred to as a foster care for adults.

Police say a former employee was shot and killed at the home after an argument about money. He has been identified as 56-year-old Jerome Keith Davis.

The incident remains under investigation.
