Detroit police are investigating after five people were shot, including a 16-year-old girl, and one person was killed Saturday night on the city's west side.
According to police, the victims were outside working on a car when the suspect drove by and fired shots around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. It happened near Oakland Ave. and Westminster, which is between Woodward Ave. and I-75.
Police say a 28-year-old male was killed, and four other people, including the 16-year-old girl, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old girl who was shot was not involved in the incident at all. She was hit by a stray bullet while sitting inside her home.
