The funeral arrangements have been set for Detroit Police Officer Myron Jarrett.
Visitation for Jarrett will be on Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov. 6 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a family hour on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. It will be held at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home at 30351 Dequindre in Madison Heights.
His funeral will happen on Monday, Nov. 7 at 12 p.m. at Second Ebenezer Church at 14601 Dequindre Rd. in Detroit.
Jarrett, 40, was killed after being hit by a hit-and-run driver last weekend in Detroit.
Police arrested a man, Steven Guzina, in connection to Jarrett's death. He is charged with second degree murder and operating while intoxicated causing death.
