A man is dead after a hit-and-run on the west side of Detroit.
The call came in early Tuesday morning for a man shot on Boston and Linwood near Central High School.
When police arrived they realized a man in his 60s had been struck by a car.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police say surveillance video shows a suspicious dark colored car driving around the area.
They're not sure if this was intentional or accidental.
"We're wondering if he got hit so hard, he might've struck a wall, a lot of this is pretty preliminary. There's no cars parked on either side of the street, it's an open clear street so for a vehicle to be westbound stop, back-up and cut through that Citgo lot is quite curious," says Detroit Police Commander Nick Kyriaco.
Detectives have not released the victim's name.
They're still waiting to review more surveillance video from a nearby business.
