DETROIT (WXYZ) - The hit musical "Hamilton" is coming to Detroit within the next 2 1/2 years, its producer Jeffrey Seller announced.
Seller is from Oak Park, and he announced Thursday night at the Detroit Homecoming event that "Hamilton" will be coming to the city and appearing at his favorite venue, the Fisher Theatre.
On Friday, the conversation continued with the arts and how it can be a catalyst for growth and an engine for change here in Detroit.
Qasam Basir, a filmmaker and Detroit native was on a panel Friday morning talking about his film, "Destined."
