Leaders are coming together Wednesday morning to announce a new $100-million manufacturing plant coming to Detroit's east side.

Flex-N-Gate, an auto supplier, is planning to build a 500,000 square foot facility on the land in the I-94 industrial park.

The new plant is expected to create up to 750 new jobs.

The company has not said when the new plant will open or when it will begin hiring.

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, along with leaders from Flex-N-Gate and Ford, are expected to be on hand for today's announcement.

It begins at 11:30 a.m.
