Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged a man in the murder of 24-year-old Kajavia Globe, according to Wayne County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Maria Miller.
Maxwell Brack, 24, has been charged with Open Murder in Globe's death.
According to police, Globe was reported missing on Dec. 11, 2015, and her body was found in a trash container just three days later on Dec. 14.
Police released photos in December of a masked man who was using her ATM card and driving her car.
Last month, her mother expressed frustration and her family suspected an ex-boyfriend, who was at the center of a love triangle involving Globe, as someone behind her disappearance.
Brack was arrested in connection to the murder on Friday, Feb. 5. He will be arraigned in 34th District Court in Romulus on Saturday.
