Detroit police say a man was shot and killed during a confrontation at a gas station early Sunday morning.
According to police, the confrontation started over a woman.
Police say the 31-year-old woman met a 22-year-old man, exchanged phone numbers and agreed to meet at the Fuel Zone gas station around 3:15 a.m.
When they met, the woman's 24-year-old boyfriend showed up and a confrontation began. Gunfire was exchanged, and it ended with the 24-year-old boyfriend dead.
According to police, the 22-year-old man was also shot but is in stable condition. He is a CPL holder and police are calling him a victim.
Right now, police are still investigating whether or not the 22-year-old man was defending himself.
