A man is recovering this morning after being shot during a home invasion. Officers tell us the suspect may have been impersonating a policeman.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 12000 block of Robson on Detroit’s west side. That's between Hubbell and Greenfield just north of Plymouth Rd.
The victim says a man who claimed to be a police officer barged into the home. The suspect took off after the shooting. No arrests have been made.
The man was shot in the foot and is expected to recover.
