Detroit police are investigating after a 25-year-old man was shot walking down the street over a pair of shoes.
Police say it's not the first time Air Jordans have been at the center of an attack.
According to police, the man was approached by a gunman early Friday morning at the intersection of Grand River and Lahser and demanded his shoes. The victim refused, and then was shot. He is currently in stable condition.
Business owners around the area said they'd like to see more police and less violence.
