We could soon find out what, if any, charges 27-year-old Victoria Solomon could face in connection with the murder of her ex-boyfriend, Tyrone Delaney. Delaney, 26, is the father of three of Solomon's children.
Solomon dropped two of their children off at Delaney's mother's house Tuesday afternoon so Delaney could spend time with them before moving to Atlanta on Friday.
But late last night, Solomon reportedly changed her mind and wanted her children back. Delaney said no.
One of Delaney's sisters says Solomon called her shortly after midnight Tuesday and threatened to kill her brother, but no one thought she had any real intention.
But then, about an hour later, Solomon showed up at the house on the 16500 block of Snowden. And she wasn't alone. Her current boyfriend was reportedly hiding near some bushes.
Tameka Black, one of Delaney's sisters, says she thought it was odd that Solomon stood by the curb instead of coming in the house.
Solomon and Delaney argued about the children. He did not want them going anywhere at 1:20 in the morning.
Black says, all of a sudden, Solomon's 18-year-old boyfriend, Montez Maxwell, came from around the bushes and opened fire on her brother.
One of Delaney's brothers tried to stop Maxwell. The two men tussled, Maxwell dropped the gun and ran. He was seen getting into a silver Cadillac.
Solomon was taken into custody at the house on Snowden.
Late Wednesday afternoon, Detroit Police were continuing to search for Maxwell.
Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is urged to call Detroit Police homicide investigators at 313-596-2260.
