The city wide anger over violence on children continued Friday night.
Frustration was voiced at a vigil on Fairmount Drive on the city's east side, at the scene where two-year old Makanzee Oldham lost her life.
Her mother tells 7 Action News, "She was my angel. That was my everything."
Friends lit candles and shared memories of the little girl, shot while sitting in a car with her dad last week after a fight broke out.
This vigil comes one day after hundreds turned out to say goodbye to 13-year old Deontae Mitchell. The young boy was kidnapped, strangled, his body dumped in a field.
Oldham's mother says, "Just want to reach out to the parents, and give them a hug. I know the pain, trust me I know the pain."
