Posted

A Detroit man whose step-daughter was killed in the San Bernardino shooting is in California today to help bury his step-daugher after getting help.

Cary Eatmon is the step-father of Sierra Clayborn, 27, was one of 14 people killed in the shootings earlier this month.

He did not have the money to fly back to California for Sierra's funeral. That is, until a Muslim doctor in California donated around $200,000 for all of the families of the victims.

Cary raised Sierra from age 2 to when she entered college. Cary is still married to her mother Wendy and they have an 18-year-old son Winston.

He moved back to Detroit seven years ago when his brother and father passed away. He runs a small video production company.

The funeral was on hold until he got to California.
