DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Nashville based chain Tin Roof will be making their debut in Detroit, taking over the space previously occupied by Cheli's Chili Bar.
Tin Roof and Olympia Development announced the project Wednesday. The restaurant, which will also feature live music performances, is expected to open in the fall.
“Detroit is such a great city with a great musical heritage and it has been on our radar for a long time,” said Bob Franklin, CEO of Tin Roof, in a news release. “We know this is the right time and we could not be happier with the location near Comerica Park, Ford Field and the historic Fox Theatre in The District Detroit.”
Tin Roof will operate in two floors and on the roof deck in the building at 47 East Adams.
The original Tin Roof opened near Nashville's Music Row in 2002. The company now operates 17 locations across the country.
