Detroit police are investigating after a pizza delivery woman was shot Wednesday night.
Police say the suspect called 7 Star Pizza in Livonia for a delivery to an abandoned house on Kentucky Street. It is suspected they intended to rob the delivery person.
The pizza shop is about a mile from the scene.
Investigators believe the suspect shot the delivery woman. A co-worker who was with her during the delivery then shot the suspect.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they now have a suspect in custody.
