A man has been shot and killed on Detroit’s southwest side across the street from a playground.
His body was discovered after 8:00 on Wednesday night near Beatrice and Visger across from Piwok Park.
According to police, a man on bicycle spotted the body and called 911.
When police arrived they found a man with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Officers are looking for witnesses, as they try to determine why this man was targeted and who is responsible.
Many neighbors gathered at the scene are sad this violence keeps happening.
"Everybody just needs to put the guns down and stop the violence, if you can't come pout and have fun stay home, stay home,” said Shalynn Stele, neighbor.
