Detroit police are hoping surveillance video will help catch the man who opened fire outside a downtown restaurant.
It happened outside They Say at the corner of Franklin and Joseph Campau.
The video shows a man leaning against the driver's side door of a Mercedes, apparently talking to the man behind the wheel.
A black Dodge Charger then pulls up and a man steps outside the car. He shoves the talking man away and fires into the driver's side window of the Mercedes, before jumping back into the Charger, which is last seen speeding away from the scene, eastbound on Jefferson.
The man inside the Mercedes was killed.
Police say as many as a dozen shots were fired.
