Police and community relations are still strained in the wake of the Dallas police shooting.
Four people were arrested in Detroit over the weekend after posing threats to white police officers on social media, and now a detective in the department has been demoted following a viral Facebook rant.
Two of the four arrested were released, and two are still in custody but on other warrants. The threats were extremely serious while talking about the killings.
In one post, they called the Dallas gunman a hero.
Detroit Police Chief James Craig says he has been in contact with Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, and says he will not tolerate any threats made against officers.
