The CEO of the Regional Transit Authority for southeast Michigan is out of a job.

The RTA board voted shortly ago to terminate Michael Ford's contract without cause.

Ford has been the CEO since 2014. He was earning about $200,000 a year.

Ford had been under fire over his travel and phone expenses.

He had recently paid back $19,000 of those expenses.

The new RTA CEO is Tiffany Gunter.
