Suspects sought in carjacking and shooting at Detroit gas station

The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help to find two suspects in connection with a carjacking and non-fatal shooting.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on November 23 at a gas station in the 1800 block of East State Fair.

Police say two men were sitting in a blue Jeep Cherokee when they were approached by two men.

Officers say the suspects assaulted the two men, shooting one of them and physically assaulting the other.

The first victim is in critical condition. The second man refused medical attention.

The suspects drove off in the victims' car.

The first is described as an African American man, believed to be between 20 and 25-years-old. He is 6'0", with a dark brown complexion.

The second suspect is described as an African American man, believed to be between 20 and 25-years-old. He is 5'7", with a medium brown complexion and a scraggly beard.
