7 Action News has learned the tenants of the Russell Industrial Center will be allowed to stay in the building while it is brought up to code.
The artists had been told they would have to leave because of the code problems.
A timeline has been set, and guidelines have been issued for what needs to be done to bring the building up to date. Once the work is done, the board will make a permanent decision on what will be done with the facility.
That decision could come in the next couple of weeks.
