Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged three men in the murder of another man inside the elevator at Greektown Casino Hotel last week.
According to Worthy, 29-year-old Rodney Pritchett of Detroit, 30-year-old Shawn Wilson of Farmington Hills and 30-year-old Carlile Jackson of Detroit are charged with the murder of Shunsaiah Glaze.
According to police, the three men were engaged in a fight with Glaze inside the hotel room. Glaze left the hotel room and got on an elevator, and the three followed.
Inside the elevator, Worthy says Pritchett fired a handgun, hitting Glaze in the torso. After the shooting, it is believed that Wilson and Jackson tampered with evidence left in the elevator.
Pritchett is charged with first degree murder and felony firearm. Wilson and Jackson are charged with second degree murder, tampering with evidence and felony firearm.
