An investigation is under way after two people were shot and killed and two children were injured after a shooting on Detroit's east side.
According to Detroit police, the shooting took place in the 13000 block of Hayes St. which is south of 7 Mile and east of Chalmers.
Around 4:30 p.m., two men ran up on a car and fired shots inside. A man in his 20s and 13-year-old girl were killed inside the car.
A 7-year-old and a teenager were sitting on the hood of the car and were injured when the car suddenly sped off and crashed into a building. That teen is in critical condition and the 7-year-old is in stable condition.
Police are looking for two suspects.
