The Wayne County Prosecutor has charged two people in connection with an incident where a Detroit police officer was tased.

Twenty-three-year-old Mario Delgado has been charged with Resisting and Obstructing Police, while twenty-seven-year-old Erica Garcia has been charged with Felonious Assault, Possession of a Taser and Resisting and Obstructing Police.
The incident happened on July 6 at 12:10 a.m.
Prosecutors allege that officers were investigating several people inside a car in the 3650 block of Clippert when they ordered the people out of the vehicle.
Prosecutors say that at the point Delgado rushed one of the officers and bumped him in the chest.
Garcia is accused of going into a home, getting a stun gun and using it on the officer that Delgado bumped in the chest.
Both Delgado and Garcia were arrested at the scene. They will be arraigned Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in 34th District Court in Romulus.
