Detroit police are investigating after two people were killed, including a bystander in a wheelchair, in a two-car accident overnight.
According to police, it happened around 1:15 a.m. near Chalfonte and Greenfield on the city's west side.
Police say a 41-year-old man was driving with his 5-year-old son when they were hit by a 25-year-old woman who ran a stop sign.
After the accident, the man's car smashed into the unknown man in a wheelchair and killed him.
Police say the 41-year-old man also died in the accident, and the 5-year-old boy received body trauma injuries and is in stable condition.
The woman ran from the scene, but was later identified at the hospital. She is in temporary-serious condition.
