Two people are dead and three were rushed to the hospital this afternoon, when police say a speeding car slammed into another.
It happened near Greenfield and Pickford on the city's west side.
Police say a gray Camaro had been speeding down Pickford, when it lost control, jumped a curb, and slammed into a burgundy Malibu.
Four people were inside the Malibu, and the force pushed the car nearly 30-40 yards.
The driver of the Camaro and two in the other car were taken to the hospital. Witnesses claim they have seen the driver of the Camaro racing around the neighborhood all the time, some scared to let their kids play in the area.
Some ran to the Malibu, trying to pull the victims out through the back window, but couldn't get them out. Firefighters eventually used the jaws of life. The investigation continues into this deadly crash.
A 20-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were killed. A 15-year-old girl and 18-year-old man in the backseat are in temporary-serious condition.
The 37-year-old man driving the Camaro is in temporary-serious condition and in custody. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
