Two teens have been shot at a gas station on Detroit's west side.
The shooting happened at a Mobil station in the 2000 block of West Grand Boulevard. There is a large police presence at the scene.
Police say the shooting stems from a fight at Northwestern High School. Officials say the shooting appears to be retaliation for that fight.
Officers say the suspects were in a black Cadillac SRX. They pulled up and confronted kids, who ran to the gas station where additional shots were fired at the kids. That's when the teens were hit.
The male and female victims students at Westside Alternative Academy. They are believed to be 16 and 17-years-old. They were taken to the hospital by EMS. They are in serious condition at Henry Ford Hospital.
However, they are both expected to be okay.
Anyone with information about what happened is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department's 10th precinct.
