Detroit police have released surveillance photos in hopes of catching two suspects wanted in connection to the armed robbery of a woman earlier this month.
According to police, the woman was walking in the area of Evergreen and Puritan on the city's west side around 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, when she was approached by the two suspects.
One suspect stayed behind her while the other walked around the block her path. That's when the suspect in front of her pulled out a gun and demanded her purse. The other suspect snatched her phone from her hand.
The victim complied and was not injured. The suspects fled west from the location.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 20 years old, 5-feet-11 weighing 170 pounds. She has short black hair, medium complexion and was wearing a dark shirt and red pants.
The second suspect is described as a black male, about 20 years old.
