"Urban Truths" is an art show focusing on revealing the ugly truth about poverty and homelessness in the city of Detroit.
The art show will get underway at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, inside the Riopelle Studio. It's located at 1492 Gratiot Avenue in Detroit, near the Eastern Market. Highlights will include spoken word, art depicting homelessness, uplifting art and vendors.
The fee to get in will be clothes/canned goods/water/feminine products/toiletries, etc. The three people with the most donations will receive a gift. Covenant House will pickup the donations throughout the day.
