The hunt continues for the parole absconder who escaped Lawton parole office on Wednesday afternoon.

After combing the streets for more than 24 hours, the Michigan Department of Corrections is asking for your help locating 19-year-old Rowvontae Walker.

It was a route parole checkup that Walker quickly realized was going south. He was shackled and handcuffed when the questioning began about a carjacking on Jan. 15.

It was just a split second but by the time the parole officer looked up, Walker was walking down the hall, out the door and onto the streets.

He was wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and boots and may still be wearing hand cuffs and shackles.

Walker is 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with a mole on the side of his face. You can see his photo above.

Police warn to look out for him, lock your doors and if you see, him, call 911. If you know where he is, call the US Marshals at 313-234-5656.
