U.S. Postal Service Letter Carrier robbed at gunpoint in Detroit

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information after a U.S. Postal Service Letter Carrier was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday afternoon on Detroit's east side.

According to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, it happened around 12:40 p.m. near the intersection of Balfour St. and Southampton St.

The postal carrier was walking when he was approached by two males at gunpoint.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 16-18 years old, about 5-feet-5 with a small build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, yellow jeans with paint on them and white gym shoes.

The other suspect is described as a black male, 16-18 years old, 5-feet-5 with a stocky build. He was wearing a navy blue jogging suit.
