A woman caught on video, in her words, having a temper tantrum inside a Detroit beauty supply store is telling her side of the story.

Joyce Alfred claims the video only shows a small portion of what happened inside the Beauty Hair and Wigs store on 8 Mile in Detroit on September 23rd.

It shows her knocking over jewelry cases and throwing punches at the 69-year-old owner and workers.

The owner told us she was angry because she couldn't receive a cash refund for returning shoes.

But Alfred claims workers were rude, dismissive, and treated her like a second class citizen.

The customer went on to say she would have taken an exchange, but that wasn't offered by anyone.

Alfred also claims she was attacked first, saying she was physically dragged back into the store and held down, after knocking over a mannequin.

She admits that was wrong, and she should not have touched their merchandise. Her keys and purse were taken away by workers and she lost control.

Alfred filed a police report, but says she hasn't heard from investigators on the status of the investigation.
