Detroit police are investigating after the body of a woman was found in a container on the city's west side.
The body was found around 12:10 p.m. in a red container in the alley behind a building in the 7300 block of Central. That's new W. Warren and Lonyo.
The body has been taken to the Medical Examiner's office to be identified, and so that a cause of death can be determined.
