The Livingston County Water Authority has issued a boil water advisory for resident and businesses that use their water.
It has been put into place following a water main break on E. M-36 that occurred around 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The advisory, which will be in place for the next 72 hours, is a precautionary measure because all pressure was lost in the system because of the break.
Anyone in the affected area should boil their water before consuming it.
Anyone with questions can call 810-231-1333 ext. 102.
